Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Servings 18 Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Butter or Margarine softened
- 1 Large Egg
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar packed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Combine wet and dry ingredients separately, then mix together
- Form dough into balls the size of a strawberry, place on baking sheets
- Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, until edges just start to brown
- Let cool and eat.
Notes
- For particularly sweet cookies, sugar and/or chocolate chips can be doubled.
- Be sure to let cool completely before storing.
