Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 1/4 cups Milk
  • 3 Large Eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and grease a 9×13" baking pan
  • Mix wet and dry ingredients separately, then combine
  • Bake for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out without wet batter
  • Let cool for 15 minutes, cut and serve
